My name is Ewelina and together with the Machiko team we create a clothing brand for active girls who love dance, gymnastics and all sports related to them.

The first steps
And it all started a few years ago... As an active mum supporting her child's passions , I was actively involved in her gymnastic progress, going to tournaments, marvelling at the artistic skills of the participants, cheering, enjoying my daughter's successes. But for all the beauty of the sport, I was missing an accent that would complement the performance. An outfit that would stand out, that would emphasise my child's individuality, the agility of her movements, that would adorn her, that would give her confidence, but above all, that would be comfortable and make her move in comfort.
Because we believe that clothing not only fulfils a specific function of covering the body, but also adorns it, improves well-being, gives energy and confidence, and can positively influence and stimulate the environment. Throughout the concept, we want to play with colours, patterns, motifs and individuality in an original way, which is why we make sure that our designs are personalised.

We design for individual customers, as well as making special collections for sports clubs, which are sure that no other will have the same design. A design reserved for a club will not find its way into a shop. We work on your individual character. In addition, we make sure that our collections are short, unique series. Quality, not quantity, is our benchmark.

Every piece of clothing has its own soul. The design passes through many hands, is discussed, tested. We choose every material, every accessory carefully. And the most important thing is that, above all, we listen. I travel to various tournaments, so I am also close to people who are fascinated by the sport and it is their life. This is where I draw my knowledge and inspiration from. And having an athlete under my roof allows me to test the effectiveness of my ideas and solutions. Because Machiko is energy, ideas and original style.
